Laudate Dominum-"Praise the Lord"

Agios Baptist Community of Faith, International in Burke, Virginia, embodies a mission deeply rooted in The Great Commission, as outlined in Matthew 28:18-20.

¹⁸ And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

¹⁹ Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: ²⁰ Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Our name, "Agios," meaning "Holy" in Greek, reflects our dedication to being a consecrated church.

However, our holiness is not self-derived; it stems from the sacrificial love of Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God, who endured unimaginable suffering on the cross to reconcile us with the Father.

At Agios, we are driven by the profound truth that Jesus Christ's death and resurrection provide the pathway to salvation. It is through His grace and sacrifice that we exist as a community of faith.

Our motto, "Laudate Dominum," which translates to "Praise the Lord," encapsulates our commitment to worship and glorify God in all we do.

Our mission is to fulfill The Great Commission by spreading the message of Christ's love and salvation to all nations. We strive to baptize believers in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and to teach them to observe all that Jesus has commanded.
